Important community meeting in Windermere Nov. 5
Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area F Director Susan Clovechok is inviting Windermere and East Side residents to an “important” meeting on Nov. 5.
Reporting on social media, Clovechok said the Windermere Community Association (WCA) is hosting a meeting at 11 a.m on. November 5, at the Windermere Community Hall to discuss two major questions.
The meeting is to discuss: The sale of the Windermere Community Hall; and Windermere and East Side of Lake Windermere joining the District of Invermere and leave the RDEK.
Recently re-elected via acclamation, Clovechok stressed the meeting is not being organized by the RDEK.
“The WCA want to have this conversation. However I will be in attendance to listen this important community discussion,” she said.
