At approximately 2:45 p.m. Saturday, March 11, Columbia Valley Search and Rescue (CVSAR) was tasked by BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) to respond to an injured snowmobiler near Catamount Glacier.

Three CVSAR members along with the assistance of a guide from RK Heli Ski and Coldstream Helicopters responded, stabilized and transported the subject to Invermere airport where they were handed over to BCEHS.
