BC United MLA Doug Clovechok (Columbia River-Revelstoke) addressed the Legislature May 11, speaking on the importance of wearing a Moose Hide pin to signify the commitment to honour, respect, and protect women and children, and to speak out against gender-based violence.

“As a husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to the women and children in my life, I am committed to raise awareness and to stand up and speak out against all forms of violence.

I challenge all men and boys to join with me,” said Clovechok.
