With a blue sky, snow on the mountains, and family all around him, Rob passed away peacefully in his home, the way he wanted it to be. We are thankful that he is no longer in pain or bound by the wheelchair. A smile on his face until the end. Loved by many.
We will be privately celebrating Rob, our Husband, Dad and Puppa, in Fernie, when the family is all together in the next few days. A day with all of us on skiis, in these beautiful mountains, would be just the way he would want us to celebrate him.
We would love to celebrate with all of you here in Fernie in June when we will have a ‘party’ -I’m not sure if that is an appropriate word in these circumstances, but I believe it is what Rob would want.
We know it is a very long journey for many and not everyone will be able to be here but will be felt in spirit.
We will determine the date very soon so that travel plans can be made.
We have had amazing care from our healthcare professionals in Fernie and we would ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made, in Rob’s name, to the Elk Valley Hospital.
The flowers we have received are beautiful and very much appreciated ❤️
