John Francis GRAVELLE

September 13, 1943 ~ January 4, 2024 (age 80)

Born in Flagstone, BC on September 13, 1943, to Annie (Phillips) and Alex Gravelle. John was the fifth child born, weighing only five pounds and he never married.

John loved all things to do with the land. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and passed these talents on to his nephews or anyone that wanted to learn.

He enjoyed spending time with his horses and long daily walks with his dog.

John attended residential school. He was a logger. He loved his community and has left behind his mark of wisdom and knowledge.

John is survived by his best friend, Diane; brothers Dan (Erin), Pat (Roberta), Larry (Sherry), Ralph (Denise); sisters Georgina, Joanne (Eldon), Caroline (Lloyd), and numerous nephews and nieces.

John was predeceased by his parents, two brothers Jim and Bob, and sisters Merle and Trina.
