MLA Tom Shypitka, a two-term BC United Member of the Legislature for former Kootenay East (now Kootenay Rockies) riding is running in the Oct. 19 election as an independent candidate.

To launch his campaign, Shypitka is hosting a birthday bash and campaign office grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 28. (See below for more details.)
