On October 8, the Sparwood Lions Club proudly joined the community at FJ Mitchell Elementary School (FJMES) for the grand opening of the new inclusive playground.

The Lions were thrilled to see their contribution come to life, providing a safe, fun, and accessible space where all children in Sparwood can play and grow together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this inclusive playground a reality—here’s to many years of shared laughter and adventure at FJMES!
