La Cafamore returns to Key City March 21
Since 2008, La Cafamore has captivated Kootenay audiences with dynamic chamber performances.
This season, the ensemble returns to its roots as a string quartet, featuring Natasha Hall (violin), Carolyn Cameron (violin), Kaito Takeda (viola), and Maria Wang (cello).
Their program showcases two exquisite works by Franz Schubert—the dramatic Quartettsatz and the deeply moving Rosamunde quartet—alongside string quartets by Madalena Lombardini Syrmen, a trailblazing 18th-century Venetian composer and violinist.
Natasha Hall, a familiar face to Cranbrook audiences as a soloist with the Symphony of the Kootenays, is thrilled to return.
“The Key City Theatre is a wonderful venue,” says Hall. “I look forward to sharing this magical program with such talented musicians.”
See La Cafamore Friday, March 21 at Key City Theatre in Cranbrook.
