Liberal candidate Goldsbury hosting Election Night Wrap-Up
Volunteers and supporters invited to celebrate campaign milestones and await results together
After a wide-reaching campaign that involved travelling over 7,000 kilometres, connecting with thousands of voters, and a dozen forums, Liberal Party Columbia-Kootenay-Southern Rockies Riding candidate Reggie Goldsbury is inviting supporters to ‘The Big Red Kootenay Wrap-Up’ on Monday, April 28, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Manual Training School beside the Cranbrook Library.
The in-person celebration will also be accessible via Zoom for supporters across the riding. Attendees can look forward to live election results, refreshments, and community camaraderie as they mark the conclusion of what many have called the most important election in a generation.
“This campaign has been about showing up, listening, and building something real,” said Goldsbury. “From Elkford to Kaslo, Montrose to Radium, our team brought a message of hope and momentum. I’m proud of how this riding has risen to support a forward-looking vision for Canada—and I’m honoured to stand among so many who believe in the power of democracy.”
The Liberal team reports a surge of new engagement, with thousands of new members, hundreds of volunteers, and widespread momentum behind Reggie Goldsbury and national Liberal leader Mark Carney. The campaign focused on local solutions, national leadership, and a commitment to rural voices.
“This region shaped me,” said Goldsbury. “I’ve poured everything into this campaign because I believe the Kootenays deserve a real seat at the table in Ottawa. I hope I’ve earned the chance to be that voice.”
The event will also recognize the hard work of volunteers—organizers, main-streeters, sign teams, phone bankers, and digital advocates—whose grassroots efforts helped energize the vote.
