Névé Lynn HALL

With sadness, we announce that Névé Lynn Hall left our earthly world 16 years after the day she entered it, May 20th.

Névé was kindness embodied. Her love of her family, friends and animals could be felt wherever she was. She was the light that we all hope to attain and become. We know that her desire would be for her exit to ignite a message of choosing joy over sadness, love instead of hate, wonderment over fear and light instead of darkness.

Névé lived her whole life in Fernie, BC. She attended elementary school at École Sophie Morigeau and high school at Fernie Secondary School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, travelling, caring for animals, and strengthening her physical body.

Névé is predeceased by her grandfather Lionel. She leaves to mourn her passing parents, Leilani and Mark, her brother, Kale as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31st, 2025 at Mountainside Church in Fernie, BC at 2:00pm. There will be a viewing before from 10:30-12:00 for those who wish.

The family would like to extend thanks to the teams at Elk Valley Hospital and Alberta Children’s Hospital for their valiant efforts to keep Névé with us here on earth. Her soul has a greater plan and purpose, and we hold comfort in knowing that she surrounds us now to guide and comfort all who her life touched.

Donations will go towards planting trees on the family homestead as many of the small trees Mark and the children planted last year were destroyed by a hurricane windstorm. Trees will live on as where flowers will not.
