We’ve heard the buzz about something new and shiny in our parking lot, so let’s clear this up: yes, the rumours are true!

Meet the newest addition to the District of Elkford fleet. Sleek, silent and unapologetically cool, our brand-new electric VW Buzz van has arrived. It’s part nostalgia, part climate action and 100 per cent turning heads everywhere it goes.

Best of all – It didn’t cost our taxpayers a dime. This ride was fully funded through the Local Government Climate Adaptation Program (LGCAP), making it a smart (and stylish!) investment for the environment and for our community. Elkford may be a small town, but we’ve never been shy about making a statement.
