The Columbia Valley Rockies Junior A Hockey Club announced today that head coach Tayler Sincennes has decided to step away from his role with the team, effective immediately.
After four memorable seasons behind the bench, Tayler has chosen to pursue new opportunities. The entire Rockies organization fully supports his decision and wishes him every success in his future endeavors.

“Tayler has been an incredible leader for our players and a respected member of the Columbia Valley community,” said Brett Holt, President of the Columbia Valley Rockies. “He has given his heart and energy to this program. We’re grateful for everything he’s done for our players, fans, and the organization.”
Coach Sincennes also expressed his appreciation for his time with the Rockies: “It’s been an honour to coach this team and be part of such a passionate hockey community. The support from the fans, volunteers, staff, and players has meant so much to me. The Columbia Valley is a special place, and I’ll always be proud to have been a part of the Rockies family.”
Since joining the Rockies over four years ago, Tayler has played a pivotal role in guiding the team’s growth both on and off the ice. His leadership, dedication, and commitment have left a lasting mark on the organization and the community.
The Columbia Valley Rockies sincerely thank Coach Sincennes for his outstanding contributions and wish him all the best in his next chapter.
The club is also pleased to announce that Tucker Braund will assume head coach and general manager responsibilities moving forward. Tucker has been a valued member of the Rockies staff and brings energy, vision, and a strong connection with both players and the community to his new role.
The Rockies organization extends its gratitude to all fans, sponsors, billet families, and volunteers for their continued support as the team looks ahead to the remainder of the season with pride and optimism.
