Downtown Invermere got all lit-up on the evening of November 29.

With stores open late, shoppers and holiday revellers mingled along a closed-to-vehicles 7th Avenue.

Campfire pits dotted the downtown core and attendees marvelled at the many scenes before lining the street for the annual parade.

Multiple business and local organizations towed festive floats adorned with lights and sights that culminated in Santa Claus riding atop the Invermere Fire Department’s classic fire truck “Old Red.”
