With the temperatures dropping, things change by the day, and the theme of the day on the Whiteway is ‘progress.’

Yesterday (Dec. 29) our groomer Brad took a tour around Lake Windermere and found a consistent three inches of ice. He expects another inch to form by end of day today. (Dec. 30).

The ice surface is strong and black, with a slightly bubbly texture.

Our ice thickness policy requires a consistent eight inches of ice before we can use our skidoo or quad on the lake. We’re on our way!
