Brilliant Texas bluesman coming to Key City
One of the most smokin’ hot blues guitarists of all time is making a stop at Cranbrook’s Key City Theatre, Wednesday, Oct. 12.
The legendary Johnny Winter & Band will be rolling through with enough wailing slide guitar heaven and lightning fast licks for fans of loud electric guitar music to sate even the hungriest of ears.
The show will undoubtedly be a promotion for Winter’s newest release entitled Roots.
Set for release Sept. 27, the recording has Johnny doing versions of songs that helped shape his legendary talent. Produced by guitarist Paul Nelson, the CD will feature notable guests such as Vince Gill, Warren Haynes, John Popper, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and more along with his new band.
