Steeples Child Care Facility officially opened
Young and old gathered yesterday morning (Feb. 3) for a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony at the recently completed Steeples StrongStart and Child Care Facility in Cranbrook.
The Board of Education of the Southeast Kootenay School District (SD5) along with Steeples Elementary School staff and students conducted an official grand opening and tour of the facility for community members.
Project partners were also on hand to provide information.
The recently opened facility includes a kitchen, two offices, washrooms, storage area, mechanical room, and a main play area of approximately 125 square metres.
