Kimberley launches Capital Projects Storymap
The City of Kimberley is pleased to announce the launch of its 2026 Major Capital Projects Storymap, an interactive online tool designed to keep residents informed about key infrastructure projects planned for the 2026 construction season.
The Storymap will be updated regularly as work progresses, offering residents a convenient way to stay connected to what’s happening in their community.
The GIS‑based Storymap provides detailed, easy‑to-navigate project information, including project locations, scope of work, timelines, and potential impacts to people and neighbourhoods.
Residents can explore each project individually and access the latest updates throughout the season.
“These projects represent significant investment in Kimberley’s future, and we want residents to feel fully included in that process,” said Nik Morissette, Senior Manager of Operations. “The Storymap offers an easy way to follow along and see how this work is unfolding across the community. We’re excited to share these updates throughout the season, so be sure to check in often.”
2026 Projects featured in the Storymap include:
- Kimberley Ave Watermain, Sewer and Road Rehabilitation;
