Mary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted mom, sister, Nan, Great Nan, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy was her family; she treasured every moment spent together.

Mary found happiness in life’s simple pleasures- her flower gardens, time outdoors, her pets and grand-dogs. She loved spending time fishing, having picnics, or enjoying the sunshine with loved ones.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at East Kootenay Regional Hospital and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. Simons, Dr. Jaworsky, Dr. Peachell, and the HART team for their compassionate care.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, no formal service will be held.

Mary will be forever loved and missed, and is now at peace, reunited with her beloved husband and son.
