It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Hazel passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Mom was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England, and came to Canada when she was 10 years old. She enjoyed the curling and golfing communities throughout her life, where she made many lifelong friends.

She is survived by her children: Gary, Darrell (Sandra), Terry (Debbie), Diana (Kelly), and Kathy (John); as well as 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Elgin, in 2010.

There will be no service, as per Mom’s request. She will be missed by so many.

We would like to thank all the medical staff in Kimberley and Cranbrook for the extraordinary care Mom received over the last three years.
