The Sparwood Lions celebrated 55 years of community service with a BBQ at Mountain Shadows Campground, June 18.

Guests from the Fernie and Elkford Lions Clubs also attended, and enjoyed the good food and fellowship.

2nd Vice President Angela Fischer;

Lion Tamer Renee Myles;

Club Administrator Paullette Rosler;

Directors: Connor Furedi, Stefan Fischer, Blake Fowler and Vicki Holberton.

The club will now take a summer break and be back in September.
