The Elk Valley Family Society (EVFS) is now accepting applications for Timber’s Landing Phase 2, a new rental housing development located at 441 Pine Avenue in Sparwood, right next door to the original Timber’s Landing building.

Prospective tenants can expect move-in beginning early to mid-February.

Timber’s Landing Phase 2 will offer one, two and three-bedroom suites for individuals and families, with a mix of market rental, Rent Geared to Income (RGI), and Deep Discount (DD) units — continuing EVFS’s commitment to affordable housing options for a range of household incomes across the Elk Valley.

“Timber’s Landing Phase 2 means more families, seniors, and individuals in Sparwood will have access to safe, affordable housing close to home. We’re proud to keep building on the momentum of the original Timber’s Landing, and grateful to all our partners who continue to make projects like this possible in the Elk Valley,” said Katey Taylor, Executive Director of the Elk Valley Family Society.

Timber’s Landing Phase 2 builds on the success of the original Timber’s Landing building, which opened in 2023 and has provided stable, affordable housing for families, single parents, individuals with disabilities, and seniors in the Elk Valley.
