As the Summerland wildfires continue to impact communities across the Okanagan, British Columbia is under a province-wide state of emergency and more than 20,000 people have been displaced from their homes.

United Way BC is appealing for donations to support those affected.

Funds raised through the United Way BC Wildfire Recovery Fund will help local community partners provide immediate assistance to evacuees and support longer-term recovery efforts as families and communities begin to rebuild.
