Candidate Information Night August 20 in Fernie
Calling all City of Fernie council candidates!
Candidate Information Night is Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 p.m. at Fernie Senior Citizens Drop-In Centre.
Come learn about the election process, how to submit your nomination papers, and what it means to be on council.
The Nomination Period opens Tuesday, September 1 at 9 a.m. Candidates can pick up a nomination package at City Hall or download a copy from the City of Fernie website (see below).
It is recommended that candidates book a meeting with the Chief Election Officer to review their nomination package. You can do so by emailing [email protected] or calling 250-946-7138.
