It is with sadness that the family of Roger Shannon announce is peaceful passing on Monday August 10, 2026 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital Cranbrook B.C.

Roger was born in Dauphin Manitoba to Clara and Lawrence Shannon, at a young age Roger moved to B.C with his family falling in love with the Kootenay’s.

Roger is the co founded Eagle’s Nest RV Resort in Moyie a place he and his family would call home for many years.

Roger is survived by his son Bill (Jo), grandchildren, great – grandchildren, sister Leona Collins, many nieces and nephews and good friends.

Roger is predeceased by his wife Betty–lou, daughter Tracy and son Gary.

A Celebration of Life for Roger will take place on Saturday September 26, 2026 at 2pm at the Eagle’s Nest Community Centre in Moyie B.C.
