Looking for something a little spooky this Halloween season?
Join us on October 28 for a special Ed Talk exploring the history of Cranbrook’s Old General Cemetery.
Opened in 1899, the cemetery is the oldest continuously standing graveyard in Cranbrook and has been part of the community’s story for more than a century. Among the weathered gravestones are the stories of early residents, memorable characters and generations of Cranbrook history.
As the sun goes down and Halloween approaches, we’ll take a closer look at this fascinating piece of our local past and the stories found within its grounds.
Come explore Cranbrook’s history from a different perspective — and maybe get a little spooky along the way.
