PHA hosting Home Showcase this weekend
Excitement is building at Purcell Hockey Academy (PHA) as we get ready to host our first home showcase of the season right here in Kimberley.
Taking place October 24–25 at the Kimberley Civic Centre, this Female Super League (FSL) showcase will give our student-athletes the opportunity to compete on home ice, put their hard work to the test, and show the local community what they have been working toward since the start of the season.
All three of our teams have been preparing nonstop, both on and off the ice, to get ready for this exciting weekend. From focused practices and skill development on the ice to off-ice training, conditioning, and team-building activities, our athletes have been putting in the work to continue improving their game. Every practice is an opportunity to sharpen their skills, strengthen their communication, and build the chemistry needed to compete at a high level.
As the showcases approach, the energy around the academy continues to grow, with every team eager to put its progress on display. Playing in Kimberley makes this weekend especially meaningful for our academy. Competing at the Kimberley Civic Centre gives our teams the chance to showcase their talent in front of the local community while representing Purcell Hockey Academy on home ice.
We are looking forward to welcoming players, families, supporters, and hockey fans for a weekend filled with competitive hockey, team spirit, and plenty of excitement.
With October 24–25 quickly approaching, our athletes are focused, motivated, and ready for the challenge ahead. We are proud of the effort all three teams have put into their preparation and can’t wait to see them take the ice for our first home showcase of the season.
