The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Reuse Centre at the Cranbrook Transfer Station is preparing to reopen on Tuesday, November 3.

We know this service is valued by many in our community, and we appreciate everyone’s patience while the facility has been closed.

When the Reuse Centre reopens, it will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These hours were selected because they are typically lower-volume times of the week and are more manageable for on-site contractors, based on previous operational issues.

Thank you for helping us make this a safe, welcoming, and respectful space for everyone.
