SNAP East Kootenay brings our region to colourful life each month as owner Janice Sommerfeld and her photographers endeavour to cover community events in the region.

East Kootenay News Online Weekly (e-KNOW) is pleased to present a new monthly photo feature showcasing some of SNAP’s images from the previous month.

Lead photo: Pink Shirt Day  – Many people supported Pink Shirt Day by wearing something pink to symbolize that they will not tolerate bullying!

A Metis youth cultural celebration was held for everyone at St. Eugene's Pavilion with the internationally famous Asham Stompers.
The following four images are from the 9th Annual Kootenay Women's Show was held at St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino.
