Big meeting for village residents
The Village of Canal Flats is hosting an important public meeting on Saturday morning, June 8 at the Civic Centre.
The meeting is so important that Mayor Ute Juras is shouting about it in the village’s May 23 community newsletter.
In a column that Juras opens in all-capital letters, emphasizing the importance of the meeting, she stated, “We need to have as many of you (village taxpayers) as possible to attend to discuss options for the Canal Flats water system and Eagles Nest water system. Both are in need of major upgrades and we need your input.”
Juras said Focus Engineering staff will be on hand, along with village staff, to answer questions.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
