McKerracher returns as Elkford’s mayor
District of Elkford Mayor Dean McKerracher (pictured) will return for a third term in office after being acclaimed, Friday, Oct. 14 when the nomination period closed.
Elkford voters won’t have an election Nov. 19 as only six candidates came forward, enough to fill the 2011 – 2014 council roster.
Incumbents Mandy McGregor, Shelly McLean, Ken Wildeman and Joe Zarowny are joined Walter Conibear and Craig Robinson on council.
