Weatherworn homage to the salmon
The third annual Columbia Salmon Festival was held on a blustery Saturday Sept. 28 at Invermere’s Kinsmen Beach.
Running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the ‘Fest with the Salmon’ included the Salmon Pavilion, Metis jiggers, performances by the Ktunaxa Dance Troupe, Cranbrook’s Good ol’ Goats, the Rosie Brown Band, telling of Ktunaxa legends and a powwow.
