Kimberley and area residents and business owners are invited to attend a business strategy meeting on Monday, December 9 at 7 p.m. at Centre 64 Theatre.

At the business meeting in April 2013, we discussed the need for positive changes to the downtown business environment. Following that meeting, a number of business folks invested many hours over a couple of months creating a comprehensive list of issues and opportunities that could have a major impact on the downtown area. A very busy summer has passed, and it is time to share those ideas, set priorities and begin next the steps.

The purpose of this meeting:

Review results of the visitor survey conducted this summer by Tourism Kimberley and the Visitor Center;

Summarize major changes that took place this summer;

Review and prioritize the list of opportunities created this spring;

Review the need and role for the Downtown Business Association, including a communication strategy;

Agree on next steps.
