The Government of Canada is inviting Canadians to sign the Book of Condolences in honour of Nelson Mandela.

Nelson Mandela was held in great esteem by Canadians. He was made an honorary Companion of the Order of Canada in 1998 and received honorary Canadian citizenship in 2001.

Canadians are invited to submit messages to the Book of Condolences at www.commemoration.gc.ca<https://www.commemoration.gc.ca>.
