Accordions, accordions and more accordions, mixed in with a sweet variety of complementary instruments, all combine to make Kimberley’s Platzl a swinging place this week.

The 38th annual Kimberley International Old Time Accordion Championships got underway July 4 and runs through to Saturday, July 9.

Like every year, the festival is drawing visitors and competitors (performers) from all over North America, drawn to hear some of the best ‘old time’ music being played anywhere.
