100 images of 2011
Here are East Kootenay News Online Weekly’s (e-KNOW) top 100 images of 2011.
They were captured by Ian Cobb and Carrie Schafer between July and December 2011, from throughout the region. Each municipality and many areas in-between are included.
The images are either representative of what we saw and photographed, or hold history-captured significance.
A total of 1,738 photos were published in e-KNOW during the last six months. Along with e-KNOW and Through My Eyes Photography images, the following photographers also submitted images: Bob Ede, Shawn Parker, Bram Rossman, Lindsay McPherson, Mary Giuliano and Larry Halverson. Additionally, e-KNOW published hundreds of community organization, municipal/regional government and private business-submitted images.
We strive to provide a glimpse of life as it is happening in the East Kootenay and invite all regional photographers to submit images for publication.
