Cranbrook RCMP arrested a 25-year-old male in the Canada Safeway parking lot shortly after 11 a.m. this morning for outstanding arrest warrants out of Northern B.C., including possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

A tactical arrest was planned and executed by members of the Police Dog Unit, General Investigation Section, Crime Reduction Unit and General Duty.

A bail hearing will be conducted via the Judicial Justice of the Peace Call Centre.
