Rick Hansen Relay – End of Day Celebrations April 14
The End of Day celebration for the Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay will be held Saturday, April 14, in the Platzl (pictured above) between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to include entertainment, food, PT the clown, the final medal bearer arriving at 3:00 p.m. and presentations.
Wide area mower purchase
A quote received from Agro Equipment in the amount of $47,000, plus applicable taxes for the purchase of a 2011 John Deere 1600 Series wide area mower was accepted April 10 by City of Kimberley council.
2012 sewer bay door purchase
A quote received from Overhead Door in the amount of $6,227, plus applicable taxes for the purchase of a 2012 Sewer Bay Door was accepted by council.
Bylaws
Bylaw No. 2426, “Highway Closure and Dedication Removal Bylaw No. 2426, 2012”, was adopted.
Bylaw No. 2436, “Highway Closure and Dedication Removal Bylaw No. 2436, 2012”, was adopted.
Department reports
Council received several departmental reports including the 2012 Priorities and Action Plan – First Quarter Report which will be made available for review by the public on the City of Kimberley website.
Next meeting of council
The next regular meeting of council will be held on Monday, April 23, at 7 p.m.
