On September 11 and 12, The Playpen Pet Boarding and Grooming hosted a garage sale in support of local animal rescue organizations.

“We are happy to say we surpassed our goal of $3,000 within the first few hours of our garage sale and hit an amazing $8,039 total for our local animal rescue organizations!” Reported Karla Shalley, owner of The Playpen Pet Boarding & Grooming.

The funds raised will be split between the East Kootenay SPCA, ICAN, GALS and PAWS. We would like to thank everyone who donated and purchased items from this event as well as our amazing volunteer team and wonderful business sponsors: Home Hardware,
