Escaped psychiatric patient taken into custody

Coquitlam RCMP report that a man who escaped a forensic psychiatric services housing program in that city and was believed to be on his way to Lethbridge, has been taken into custody in the southern Alberta city this morning.
Early this morning, March 14, David Fomradas was taken into custody without incident by the Lethbridge Police Department. Fomradas had been previously reported as an unauthorized absence on February 10 from the Riverview grounds in Coquitlam.
Fomradas is scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court today in order to initiate is transfer back to British Columbia and into the custody of the Coquitlam RCMP.
At this time, we would like to thank the Lethbridge Police for all of their help, as well as the media in both B.C and Alberta.
