Missing Elkford man found safe and well

UPDATE: Elk Valley RCMP report Gregory McGlashan of Elkford has been found safe and sound.

Elk Valley RCMP is asking for public assistance to locate missing person Gregory McGlashan of Elkford.

G McGlashanGregory (Greg) McGlashan, 64-years-old was reported missing to the Elk Valley RCMP on Monday, April 11 at around 8 p.m.

RCMP was advised that McGlashan last left his residence in Elkford, on April 3, and has not been seen since.

His last known whereabouts was in Cranbrook, where he purchased gas at the
Van Horne Fas Gas on April 4. Greg’s direction of travel is unknown, family and police are concerned for his wellbeing. He has not been in contact with anyone since April 3.

Missing man truckGreg is driving a red 1990 GMC Suburban bearing B.C. license plate BC323B. The vehicle is quite noticeable and stands out given the year and condition, the colour is a vibrant red.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Greg. Should you see Greg or his vehicle immediately call 911 or for anyone with information with regards to Greg’s whereabouts, please contact your local police or RCMP detachment, or contact the Elk Valley Regional RCMP Detachment at 250-425-6233.
