HOWARD, GORDON DOUGLAS
JANUARY 24, 1935 – JANUARY 12, 2019
Gordon passed away quietly at the Cranbrook hospital with family by his side.
Gordon lived most of his life at Fort Steele, the place he loved dearly. He went to the Little Red School House and was there for the start of the historic park in the early 60’s! He had many jobs through his career, his last being curator of the museum at the park!
He is survived by his cousin Minnie Erickson, special friends Gary Hay, Maureen Martine and family, Rob Salmon and family and several nieces and nephews.
At Gordon’s request there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A special thanks to doctors, nurses and staff of the 2nd floor for the excellent care, you went above and beyond! A very special thank you to Patty for being there when he needed someone! You’re Awesome!
