Grace Laura COLE

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Grace Cole. Grace passed away peacefully at the Elk Valley Hospital on September 25, 2019 at the age of 91.  She was the last remaining child of Pasquale and Theresa Pascuzzi.

She was born in Fernie on November 13, 1927 and spent her entire life in this beautiful valley.  She considered that she had the best view of the Three Sisters from her kitchen window. Grace’s lifetime career was that of a devoted wife and a nurturing Mother, Nana and Gigi – a career that blessed her and blessed all of us who lived within her caring embrace.

Grace is survived by her daughters Theresa Cole-Smith (Wayne Smith) and Rose Mary Stratton (Rick);  loving grandchildren William Cole (Dorene), Geoffrey Cole (Karin), Jeremy Cole (Jenny), Nicole Aasen (Chris), Scott Stratton, Jimmy Stratton (Robin), David Stratton (Tammy), Dustine Vicic (Jason Stewart) and Adam Vicic (Alicia); and fourteen great grandchildren, Toni, Billy, Thomas, Henry, Tanner, Aubrey, Sam, Jane, Jacob, Emily, Sophia, Bella, Jack and Cole.

Grace is predeceased by her husband William Cole, her son William P. Cole, her daughter Diana Vicic and her grandson Clayton Smith.

Grace was adored and loved by so many.  We will miss you.
