Joe SMITH

Supported by his family and caregivers, Charles Joseph “Joe” Smith passed away peacefully at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook on Monday, July 8th, just days following the death of his daughter, Michelle Neben.

Joe is lovingly survived by his wife Linda and their two sons: Gary (Korina) Smith with their children Brock and Brandon, and Stuart Smith; his son-in-law Peter Neben; Michelle and Peter’s children: Andrew (Chelsie) with Joe’s great grandchildren Kaeden and Brady, Stephanie (Scott) and Jennifer (Marco) with great grandchildren Carter and Alivia. Also left to mourn his passing is his family in England: brothers Terry (Pat), Johnny (Pauline), Colin (Sue), and Graham (Jill), and his sister Ann (John) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ella Smith, his brother Roy Smith, and on June 27th, his beloved daughter Michelle.

There will be no funeral services held by request.
