Dancing in Heaven

With the greatest love and respect we are grieving the loss of our Mom, Lenore (Lenny) Pretty. She arrived on earth April 14, 1933 in Lethbridge, Alberta and started the next chapter on August 17, 2019, shortly before midnight in St. Albert, Alberta.

Lenny was a bundle of strength, independence, and love. She was a feisty, sarcastic, funny, compassionate, hard working, uncomplaining woman. She worked for and was a part of the BC Tel family in Cranbrook for many years. She was a talented sewer, knitter and maker of beautiful, red ribbon winning needlework.

Lenny was predeceased by two sons, David and Lorne Pretty, daughter in law Corrie Pretty, her sister Joyce Filatoff, her twin sister Phyllis Kons, her Mother, Margaret Minor and step-father Jon Minor, her Father Kelly Nelson and step Mother Florence Nelson and ex husband Donald Pretty.

Her daughters, Debra Allen (Rob), Beverley Pretty, Shannon Lavender (Roy) and Tammi Pretty (Harry) are left to hope she is dancing in heaven and knowing she is free of pain. Grandchildren David, Theresa, Rob, Malynda, Jennifer, Heather, Jonelle and Kasey will miss her greatly. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Atchison (Whit), her step-sister, Trudy Wooff, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service as per Lenore’s wishes.
