Clarence “Spunk” Joseph Oddy
Clarence “Spunk” Joseph Oddy, passed away peacefully at the age of 94, on September 13th 2026. He was surrounded by his loving family and the very caring staff of the FW Green Home. Spunk was born August 17th, 1932, in New Westminster, B.C. to Clara and Joseph Oddy and was the third of their 4 sons.
He is survived by his loving wife Jeanette, his daughter Cheryl & Tom Hawke and grandchildren Codey (Tiffany) Hawke, Andrea (Dan) Whitemarsh, Aimee (Tyler) Clawson, Dallas (Alison) Hawke, Matthew (Kristen) Hawke, Shane (Emma) Hawke, his son Paul, and granddaughters. Megan (Sandy) Stasiuk and Sara (Justin) Mercier and his son, Brett & Vicki Oddy and grandchildren, Tyler (Erin) Oddy and Daley Oddy. “Poppa” was also blessed with 26 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Bert and Bud, and great, great, grandson Beckham. He is survived by his younger brother, Ken.
A Memorial Mass for Spunk will take place on Saturday October 10th, 2026, at 10:30 am at Christ the Servant Parish in Cranbrook.
