Ernest (Ernie)Thomas Tregaskis

Born:  November 26, 1948 in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan

Passed Away: November 27, 2019 in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ernie Tregaskis at the age of 71 following a short illness. Ernie had a very fulfilling life working in the building industry as well as numerous hobbies and interests over the years. One special hobby was photography in which Ernie spent countless hours capturing the Columbia Valley in BC.

The family cabin at Columbia Lake was his favorite place at which his final days were spent watching the Grey Cup and enjoying the “glorious” view. Ernie can be most remembered for being an avid sports fan. He had a great knowledge and interest in all sports with a special aptitude to pick winners in the annual hockey pool.

Ernie was always eager to hear the stories of people he met. He can be proud of a life lived on his own terms.

Ernie was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Jean. He is survived by a brother Lorne (Kim) and a sister Laurie.

A family memorial will be held in the Spring 2020 at Columbia Lake.
