Fred Schmidt
1965 – 2020
With Sadness we announce the sudden passing of Frederick Walter Schmidt in Fairmont Hot Springs, on July 4, 2020 at the age of 54.
Fred was born in Calgary, Alberta October 9, 1965 to Fredrich and Theresa Schmidt. He had many loves, photography, skiing, the Calgary Flames, and his nieces. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish memories are, Fred’s mother Theresa Schmidt, sister Dorthy Sullivan, brother Carl Schmidt, nieces Jessica Sullivan, Amber Sullivan, and Eva Morgan.
He was predeceased by his father, Fredrich W Schmidt, and his brother Andre F Schmidt.
There will be a Celebration of Life July 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm, Carriage House Hotel, Calgary Alberta. We must comply with the Covid 19 protocol and only 50 people max will be allowed to attend.
A private family Celebration of Life and Interment will be held at the Fairmont Evergreen Cemetery, on August 2, 2020 at 11:00 am, with a gathering at the Schmidt family residence in The Meadows.
