George “Fred” QUENNEVILLE

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of the greatest men, (in our lives), George “Fred” Quenneville at the age of 86.

Fred was a great father, grandfather, and great grandfather who lived a long and very healthy life. He enjoyed spending as much time with his children as he could, camping, bush cruising, scouts with his sons, and travelling with mom. In 2019 he moved to Fernie to be closer to his daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Fred was predeceased by his wife, Anne, in 2014. He is survived by his children, Tom (Mary) Quenneville, Michele (Roland) Hula, and Steve (Terry) Quenneville, his grandchildren, Courtney (Greg) Kennedy, Jordan, Brayden, and Justin Hula, Jesse (Charlotte) Quenneville, and Kaylie (Paul) Quenneville. Fred is also survived by four great grandchildren, Lilly and Edyn Kennedy, Zeke Quenneville, and Morgan Quenneville, and his sister Agnes as well as nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

A special thank you goes out to the Elk Valley Hospital, Rocky Mountain Village, and Cherished Memories Funeral Services. A very big and special thank you to Dr. Paul Michal for everything he did to make dad more comfortable.

You will be dearly missed and never forgotten by an of us dad. God speed and until we meet again.
