Obituary of Glenn Webber

Glenn Webber

Frederick Glenn Webber passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at the age of 64, after a two-year battle with ALS.

Glenn was a familiar face throughout Cranbrook and Kimberley following an extensive career in retail management. Always positive and patient, he was a friend and “work dad” to many, as well as an honorary grandpa to the littles in his life.

A prolific reader, Glenn was always happy to share his love of books. He also enjoyed skiing with Cheryl, working on his hobby pond, and doting on his many animal companions.

Glenn was a devoted husband to Cheryl and a loving father to Caitlin. Time spent together was what he valued most.

He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Cheryl; his daughter, Caitlin; his special son-in-law, Ken Miller; his sister, Shelley Webber; his sister-in-law, Penny Zenor; and his brother-in-law, Randy Zenor. He is also greatly missed by his close cousins Jennifer, Georgia, Jane, Gwen, Chris, and Bruce, as well as his close friends Ian and Rachel.

A special thank you to the EKRH ICU staff and to his devoted home care team—Wendy, Danette, Jason, Doug, Michelle, and Kierra—for their excellent and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ALS Society.
