Obituary of James Clair Bartlett
JAMES CLAIR BARTLETT
MAY 14, 1934 – JANUARY 4, 2022
Jim was born and raised in Portapique, Nova Scotia. It was here he met the love of his life, Joan and they were married in August of 1959. Together they raised three children. In 1966, the family moved to Cranbrook where Jim worked in the logging industry as a faller and a faller certifier.
Jim is survived by his three children, Tim (Kelly), Bonnie (Dean) and Cathy (Tom) as well as his five grandchildren; Cam (Kelly), Crystal (Jeramy), Wade (Angela), Michael (Brianna) and Curt (Chelsey). Jim also leaves behind 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Joan and his parents, Albert and Margaret Bartlett.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jim will always be remembered for his kind hand. The family would like to say an extended thank you to the staff at Joseph Creek Care village in the Moyie and Lakit area for the care dad was given while a resident with them.
